October 2023: Most Value-Able Players

These team members have been nominated by their colleagues for demonstrating our core values in their work.

Dawson Ahrenstorff: Creative Content Producer - GROWTH

Dawson fostered growth this month by assigning a student producer a project which entailed editing a video for the installation of the updated "Intimidator" signage at Alex Box Stadium. This project would not have taken Dawson long to complete, but he chose to use it as a one-on-one teaching tutorial for the student, which will make a larger impact on his development within our program. (nominated by: Sheldon Lee)

Hannah Ericksen: Assistant Director of Creative Content - GROWTH

Hannah is constantly growing within her position in the Creative Content Department by being a self-starter and taking initiative on a variety of video projects as well as giving above and beyond of her time to the overall growth our student staff. A lot of improvements in our department's processes, organization and culture are because of Hannah's continued growth. She is a leader by example for all of Creative Content. (nominated by: Emily Dixon)

Jason Erickson: Assistant Director of Compliance & Blair Napolitano: Assistant AD/Compliance – EXCELLENCE, PERSERVERANCE, SERVICE

This crew is amazing. They constantly face challenging situations and are willing to do what it takes to keep our university in good standing. They were down a pivotal staff member the first few weeks of school, yet they continued to pay attention to details and make sure all student-athletes had what they needed to be eligible. I can't imagine how many extra hours these three put in to serve the needs of this department. Forever grateful for their selflessness and perseverance - we truly have the best compliance team in the nation! (nominated by: Alexis Conaway)
