Why Give Trigger WARNings?
THIS FRIDAY, on October 20th, Tigers Against Sexual Assault (TASA) will be hosting a movie night with a guest speaker from the LSU Lighthouse Program. Food and drinks will be provided!!
The theme surrounding the event will be trigger warnings and why they can be important for survivors. The movie of choice is Kill Bill Vol.1- it's based on a woman getting revenge on her abusive ex-lover and his accomplices after awaking from a coma.
LOCATION: LSU Student Union Room: 256J Career Classroom starting at 5:30pm.
GUEST SPEAKER: 5:35pm
MOVIE TIME: 5:50pm

Mentions of sexual assault within the first 40 minutes of the movie
Brief mentions of child sexual abuse
Physical violence throughout the entire movie
