As part of its effort to bring awareness to and show support for victims and survivors of sexual and domestic violence, the LSU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is hosting a “We’re Committed” Rally on Monday, April 12 at 6 p.m. outside of the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

LSU student-athletes, coaches and staff members will be in attendance on Monday night for the “We’re Committed” Rally.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and Monday’s rally is one of many things LSU student-athletes are doing this month to bring awareness to this initiative. Teal t-shirts along with masks/gaiters will be distributed on Monday night to student-athletes and staff in attendance.

In addition to the participation from LSU student-athletes, STAR (Sexual Trauma Awareness & Response) and Lighthouse will also be on hand providing educational presentations for the group. Lighthouse is located on the LSU campus and provides free assistance and support to LSU students.
