Tuesday, March 26th ~ Show Support & Wear Your White
Join our partners from the LSU Lighthouse Program on Tuesday, March 26th @ 4:00pm for The Believe Walk as we kick off Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
Many men and women suffer in silence after sexual assault for a number of reasons:
They believe the police can do anything to help
They don’t want the perpetrator to get in trouble
They don’t think it is important enough to report
They are fearful of reprisal
They believe it is a personal matter
Send the message to others that YOU BELIEVE and it is not your fault.
Use this QR Code to register for the event. The first 200 students who REGISTER and attend the event will get a “Believe” T-shirt. After this short silent march around the Enchanted Forest (behind the Student Health Center), stick around and enjoy pizza from Hungry Howie’s, Jeremiah’s Ice Cream, Popcorn, music and much need support. Don’t suffer in silence!
