Healing Begins in a Safe Space

LSU Athletics is committed to the prevention of sexual and domestic violence. Over the last few years, we have worked closely with our community resources to provide expert and timely support for those who are survivors of this type of violence. STAR is a local non-profit that provides supportive services to survivors to reduce their experience of trauma. They provide advocacy, counseling and legal services to youth and adult survivors of sexual violence at no cost, and are intended to assist survivors at any stage of healing.

STAR has recently launched a College Survivor Support Group that will run for 9-weeks that will be facilitated by a licensed mental health professional. This group will run every Wednesday until December 14th from 2:00pm - 3:00pm with members entering at any point during the Fall. If you are interested, please contact STAR and enroll (855-435-7827).
