Click on this Spotify or Apple Podcast to join Tai Brown, from the One Question Leadership Podcast and Athletic Director U, as he brings mental health to the front and center of collegiate sports. In this conversation with Shelly Mullenix, LSU Athletics Senior Associate Athletic Director for Health & Wellness and Ryan Cain, CEO of The Hope Desk, Tai guides the conversation about the mechanics of providing mental health services to former LSU Student-Athletes.

The creation of Tiger Legacy Care, in the partnership with our Championship Health Partner Our Lady of the Lake and The Hope Desk, has place LSU Athletics in a leadership position within the space of supporting student-athlete mental health. Tiger Legacy Care is a program that provides former student-athletes and their immediate family a pathway to seek mental health care without the fear of stigma or exposure. Whether the student-athlete’s mental health journey started at LSU or they are searching for themselves or for support in their transition after college, Tiger Legacy Care and The Hope Desk provide a concierge mental health service, designed to seamlessly integrate and meet them where they are today.
