March 2025: Core Value Most Valuable Players

These team members have been nominated by their colleagues for demonstrating our core values in their work.

Julia Fecke, Director of Marketing: RESPECT, FAIRNESS

“We received an email from the Florida State band about their experience at LSU for the NCAA women's basketball tournament, expressing their appreciation for the opportunity to be a part of the game day atmosphere: "I am happy to say our experience both times we have been to LSU, this season and back in 2022, have been [excellent], and the common dominator both times has been Julia Fecke. It is refreshing to see someone on the marketing and game management side of things appreciate the value and contributions of the bands when it comes to college basketball. You can’t completely script an athletic event and Julia seems to understand this as well as anyone." ~nominated by Keli Zinn

Jamie Ingram, Account Manager—Anthony Travel: EXCELLENCE, PERSEVEREANCE, RESPECT, SERVICE

“Jamie is phenomenal to work with! She is extremely responsive and always willing to adapt to the needs of travelers, including some quick changes for our teams. She will always reach out to make sure everything is how it needs to be and brings a positive attitude and work ethic to the job. We're fortunate to work with her!” ~nominated by Zach Greenwell

Dorothy Kemp, Director of Educational Support Services: EXCELLENCE, GROWTH

“Dr. Kemp consistently encourages her staff to grow and improve. She seizes every chance to support and uplift those around her. As a supervisor, she is always accessible and attentive to her team. She is deeply committed to the well-being of both her staff and student-athletes, always prioritizing their best interests. In her position, she plays an integral role in implementing policies and procedures to foster this growth.” ~ nominated by Carli Faulkner

Ben Ross, Senior Vice President—Chief Revenue Officer: RESPECT

“On a recent trip, Ben was accompanying a guest who began to loudly tell stories at a time when sharing such information was not ideal. I overheard Ben calmly and respectfully guide the conversation in a different direction. The guest pushed three or four times to tell the story, and each time Ben was extremely considerate in moving the conversation away from the story, while still being very respectful. I can't imagine a better way for that situation to end!” ~ nominated by Steve Lautz

Jordin Westbrook, Women’s Basketball Chief of Staff: EXCELLENCE, INTEGRITY, AUTHENTICITY, PERSERVERANCE, RESPECT, FAIRNESS, GROWTH, SERVICE

“I am fortunate to work with and travel with LSU Women's Basketball. Jordin exemplifies professionalism and class in every aspect of her job with LSU Women's Basketball. She is a great communicator, ensuring every detail is handled with precision and clarity. No matter the challenge, she remains calm, kind, and composed...never rude or rattled. Her ability to navigate logistics smoothly while maintaining a positive attitude makes her an invaluable asset to any team.” ~nominated by Shaeeta Williams

Anthony Williston, Horticultural Attendant: EXCELLENCE, GROWTH

“Anthony went out to our building to fix some broken locks on our lockers. He corrected all the issues he could and then gave me a detailed report on each locker and what he had done to get them in working order. He then emailed me a couple of weeks later that he had finally been able to reach someone at the locker company and they are sending replacement parts. Great job Anthony!” ~nominated by Katie O’Brien
