“It is an honor for me to be named the student-athlete of the month and I couldn't be happier for winning this award during my freshman year at LSU. Even though the Fall semester was one of the most challenging in many aspects of my life, including my transition and adaptation to college as an international student, I feel extremely grateful for the people that supported me in both academics and athletics, as well as my family.
