Five LSU Teams Receive Perfect Graduation Success Rates

LSU's success in the classroom continues for its student-athletes as the university remained near historic levels with an overall score of 89 in the most recent Graduation Success Rate released by the NCAA on Tuesday. It's the third straight year LSU student-athletes posted a score of 89 percent in the GSR, which is one point shy of the school's all-time high of 90 set in 2017. 

LSU is one of only five schools in the Southeastern Conference to score an 89 or higher each of the past four years. LSU is joined by Vanderbilt, Missouri, Alabama and South Carolina as the only schools to reach the at least the 89 score mark each year since 2017-18. 

"Our continued success does not happen alone, it is based on our partnerships that extend beyond the walls of the academic center with the Office of Academic Affairs, athletics, schools and colleges, and most of all our student-athletes who are competing not only to win championships but to win in the classroom as well," Walt Holliday, Executive Director of the Cox Communications Academic Center for Student-Athletes said.
