Celebrate the Sweetness with PRIDE!

LSU Athletics will host our 2nd Annual Sweet Liberation Bake Sale to celebrate Pride Month and support the LGBTQ+ community.

Why Sweet Liberation?

Liberation is the act of setting someone free with the hope of acquiring equal rights and status for a particular group. Baked goods are sweet and make most of us smile, so we combined the two to bring you some of your favorite desserts prepared by your friends and colleagues to support a good cause.

Join Us to Indulge in the Sweetness!

You may donate and pick up a treat on Tuesday, June 27th from 11:00am – 12:30pm in the Lawton Room.

There will be a friendly competition again for those who are interested in baking. Three judges will taste each baked good and determine the “Premier Baker”. There will also be a “People’s Choice” winner for the dessert that receives the most votes for creativity. The winners will be announced on Wednesday, June 28th. Register here if you would like to provide a sweet treat!

Even if baking is not your talent, please remember you can still donate to Baton Rouge Pride to show your support of the LGBTQ+ community! Baton Rouge Pride is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing resources, education, cultural events, and other community-building activities for the South Louisiana LGBTQ+ community and its friends, families and allies. You may donate at the bake sale or by utilizing this link.

Happy Pride Month and we will see you at Sweet Liberation!
