Let’s Get Ready to Geaux!

In collaboration with Southern University Athletics, LSU Athletics will host Geaux Day on June 18, 2022 from 8:30am - 2:00pm to commemorate the 50 Year Anniversary of Women’s Athletics! Geaux Day is a field day open to the Baton Rouge community where children under the age of 18 can play a series of modified sports on LSU’s campus, and also learn more about the incredible history of women’s athletics at both LSU and SU. This is an opportunity to open our doors, invite our community in and celebrate our collective efforts towards prohibiting sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, and gender identity) discrimination in educational programming or activities that receive federal financial assistance.

Participants will rotate through six different sport stations supervised by LSU and Southern student-athletes and athletics staff. Lunch and a panel discussion about the generational perspective of Title IX will follow.  Participation is limited! If you would like to register your child as a participant, please click here.
